ⅠLove Soccer　

          I like soccer very much.  Although I like cheering on my favorite player better than playing soccer, so today I would like to introduce my favorite player, Yoshito Okubo, and talk about a little about his background and performance in the Athens Olympics. 

Yoshito was born on July 9th in 1982.  He comes from Fukuoka. He is one year older than I, and I really respect him as he is almost the same age as me but he has already done a lot of great things in his life. He graduated from Kunimi high school.  Kunimi high school is famous for its brilliant record in senior high school soccer tournaments.  Now he belongs to the Cerezo Osaka team. His position is FW.

     This year, he was chosen as an Athens Olympic representative for the Japanese team. He got two goals in the game where Japan played UAE on March 18th.  Since he decided to take part in Athens Olympic and he scored some goals there, he is my hero.　He also got a goal against both Paraguay and Ghana in Athens Olympic.  Unfortunately, the Japanese team was defeated in the first league, so we could not win the championship. It's a real pity.  He is an excellent soccer player, and I hope for continued success in his career in the future.

          Every time I have watched him play, I go crazy.  I shout and scream and have a great time cheering him on.  Sometimes I think I get more exercising supporting him than I would if I actually played the game.  Who do you support?
